CORONAVARIS HEALTH UPDATE
Steps we have taken to keep our patients and staff safe…
We’ve implemented some extra precautions regarding the Coronavirus in addition to the universal precautions we already take to protect your health.
What we are doing:
- We have implemented designated times on the schedule for high-risk patients.
- Appointment times will be managed to limit patient overlap and to allow for social distancing between patients.
- We request all patients to not present early for their scheduled appointment, but instead, wait in their cars if they do arrive early to maximize social distancing in the office.
- Hourly disinfection of the reception room, the check-in and check-out counter tops, and bathroom.
- Hourly disinfection of doorknobs and sinks.
- Non-touch forehead temperature scans preformed at our front desk. All patients and staff must have a temperature less than 100.4 or they will be referred to their primary care physician.
- Multiple alcohol-based hand rub stations for staff and patients to maintain strict hand hygiene.
- Patient screening pre-appointment and at appointment time to rule out presence of fever and disease.
- Staff wear OSHA approved, non-absorbing protective gowns that will cover and protect scrubs and clothing from cross contamination.
- Staff have FDA approved N95 respirator masks and FDA approved Face Shields.
- We’ve installed hospital grade HEPA-13 filtration to our HVAC system and portable units throughout the office that remove all particles, bacteria and viruses from the air.
- Hydrogen Peroxide rinses provided before treatment.
- Removal of all magazines, coffee station, water, and unnecessary items from the reception room.
- Practicing social distancing whenever possible and this includes no handshaking and hugging.
We hope these measures will relieve any stress or concerns you may have regarding your dental appointment. We are happy to discuss any of our procedures and answer any questions you may have. Rest assured, your health and safety is of our utmost concern!
